Greetings from the President of aimWest:
When I first joined aimWest in 2005, I was excited to have found a local organization
that provides educational and networking opportunities to technology professionals. What
impressed me most, however, was the diversity of our membership: corporate managers and
executives, small business owners, marketing professionals, recruiters, IT people, and more.
Learning events were not highly technical, but you could get technical information by
talking to the right people. Networking opportunities were engaging and worthwhile.
The membership was in touch with technology and with the local business community.
As we enter our 2008-2009 "season," these aspects of aimWest haven't changed.
But aimWest has grown, and the caliber of our events continues to improve. We have
some exciting new goals for the year, and a unique opportunity to showcase the
tremendous technology growth happening in West Michigan!
This year, we will:

Significantly increase membership

Expand our most popular learning events

Enhance networking opportunities through our web site and other online tools

Collaborate with our vendors, sponsors, and members to provide even more value to our membership and the community at large.

aimWest
is
a non-profit, professional association that supports and
promotes the growth of the interactive and technology industries
throughout Western Michigan.
Our goal is to be a forum for the interactive community,
to help local businesses diversify using technology, and
to provide a medium for sharing resources and knowledge with
peers.
aimWest also provides educational, networking,
and community outreach opportunities to our individual and corporate
members.
