Join Mayor George Heartwell and Project Manager Sally Wesorick from the City of
Grand Rapids who will speak about the Grand Rapids Wireless Broadband Project.
They will present the vision and progress of the project, and also
opportunities, challenges, and other project details.
Anticipated benefits of this self-funded solution include affordable access,
enhanced public safety, opportunities for economic development, reducing the
digital divide, reducing the cost of government, creation of an attractive
business environment, and more.
The project will provide potential business opportunities for ISPs, applications
developers, advertisers, and sub-contractors for network deployment, operations
and maintenance within the City’s 45 square miles. If your organization is
