aimWest draws people from diverse professional backgrounds. You never know: in addition to making friends, you may find a great business partner, customer, or employee!
Relevant event topics
About seven times per year, aimWest holds a learning event that covers topics relevant to members of West Michigan’s technology industry. Attend an event of interest to you, and you’ll benefit from educational presentations and meet others with the same interests.
Reduced price on events
Members get free admission to aimWest events and receive discounted member rates at events or free admission held by Automation Alley and other aim chapters.
Opportunities for participation
Once a year, members can vote for new leadership and run for election. Members get free or discounted rates at aim events for other aim chapters across the state of Michigan. Members also receive a discount on advertising with MiTechNews.com.
There are three types of membership packages:
Individual Membership – $75/year.
Individuals receive full membership benefits, including free or discounted admission to aimWest events. Individual members receive secondary consideration to corporate members for speaking and sponsorship opportunities.
Any individual involved in the interactive community can join aimWest. Membership directory listing and contact information is by individual name. Individual members receive full membership benefits for $75 per year/per individual.
Corporate Membership – $250/year.
These are individuals from companies that are developers, producers, and sellers of: Advertising; Computer related hardware components, systems and/or services; E-commerce solutions; Multimedia; Software; System Integration; Telecommunication related hardware components, systems and/or services; Training; Web sites.
In addition to Individual Membership benefits, corporate members receive primary consideration for speaking and sponsorship opportunities. Up to five employees may attend each aimWest Learning Event.
Student Membership – $0/year.
Individuals currently registered as a full-time Student receive limited membership benefits, including free or discounted admission to aimWest events. Valid student ID required.
