Prior to joining the aimWest Board, I had attended many of the learning and networking events and remember being impressed with the variety of topics and the quality of the people attending each event. I always came away with new ideas, deeper insights, and more friends. When I was asked to join the aimWest Board, I was excited to become a part of a long-established local organization that provides great value to many in the West Michigan community.
I especially enjoy the diversity of our membership: corporate managers, business owners, IT professionals, marketing experts, designers, entrepreneurs, writers, educators, creatives, recruiters, and many others.
We strive to keep our learning events accessible, but also full of useful information (and I’ve always enjoyed learning even more by talking to others after the event).
I have found our aimWest membership as one of the most informed and involved groups in many of the innovative initiatives happening in our local community.
As we enter our new season, my goal is to maintain and grow these core aspects of aimWest, while also adjusting to meet the ever-changing needs of our members and community. We have some exciting new goals for the year and a unique opportunity to showcase the tremendous technology growth happening in West Michigan!
I look forward to meeting each of you over the coming years.
